Hi Learning Pod 3,

As a member of Pod 4, I am very honored to see your interactive learning resource and share with you my thoughts after reading your website.

First of all, I want to talk about the overall feeling. When I opened your website, I was very surprised. You put all the content of this course in Moodle, because it looks very similar to the previous Uvic’s CourseSpace, so I feel very kind and know how to operate this webpage, which is really great. And I checked the content requirements of assignment 3, and you covered all the content.

Secondly, I want to talk about the content. First of all, I read the outline of each class very carefully, because I am afraid I might miss something. So when I open your webpage, according to my habit, I will read all the content you put in ‘Introduction to Course’ first. But after I read it, when I scroll down to the place of your hyperlink (the place where I put the screenshot above), I found that the content is the same as the above “Introduction to Course”, but it is divided into several different parts. So my thinking is, does this seem to be a bit repetitive? Is it possible to put them all in a ‘Course Outline’ file, and then link with one file is enough?

In addition, if I change my role from your peer to the ELL student who wants to take your class, I will wonder if the study time will be a little longer. Since I was an ELL student before, I will have a deep understanding. I will be thinking about each lesson how long you want us to study in total. Because ELL students are not very fast in reading, if each lesson is a week’s content, such as the reading content included in lesson 2, and all the assessments have to be completed, is the reading pressure of ELL students a little bit heavy?

Finally, the above are all my personal opinions. It does not mean that they are correct. I just hope that my suggestions can give you some ideas, and I hope my ideas can help you. Thank you.
